I have been going to the Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. office in St. Cloud since it opened. I am very satisfied with my provider, Margie Lewis. She is a very good therapist, compassionate and kind. I am also very happy with Anna, my ARMHS worker through Nystrom. She has been invaluable to me making and achieving goals and helping me improve my self care. They have a new ARMHS skills group at Nystrom that I would also recommend to anyone in that program. Medication management here for me, however, is terrible. My psychiatrist that I was seeing previously suddenly quit practice and I was sent scrambling for someone else to take over my care. Nystrom had a psychiatrist in office that I was on a wait list for for almost a year. In the mean time, I was stuck with someone that wasn't a good fit and I had to see him over a computer monitor. I finally got to meet with my current doctor, and was very happy meeting with him in person. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. Soon after getting in to see him, he moved away and I now have to see him through a computer monitor as well. I hate it. There is a bit of lag and it is hard to communicate. It is uncomfortable and feels very detached. Without doctors in office, and terrible communication between staff, medication refills here have been a complete nightmare! Four times I have been without neccessary medication because of some mistake or misunderstanding with the nurse. I am frequently forced to call and find out why they are sitting on a medication refill request. For dependable medication management, go anywhere else.

Our family has been going to Nystrom for med management. We have had nothing but good experiences with our psychiatrist, no issues running out of meds or even issues with a medication not being covered by insurance (although that would not be the Drs fault if it did happen). We have hower had to do some arguing with the billing dept. They sent the wrong family member as the "patient" messing up our deductible and kept missing billing our secondary insurance. This did eventually get resolved but only after several arguments with their billing dept. I work in billing myself and the way they initially handled things would never fly where I work. Billing staff needs some education it seems, but we've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the medical and reception staff.

My personal exerpiene with Nystroms has been excellent. Great front desk help, support staff and atmosphere is wonderful, and my treatment therapist Jodie, couldn't have been any better. If you can't go to them, they'll come to you. They have resources in the community to provide assistance in other areas you may need help with. You get out of it what you put to it. Some workers are better than others, my over all experience has been rear and I plan on continuing using their services

Great place. Wonderful people. As someone has mentioned only giving good reviews to earn points well for myself yes i do give reviews but my reviews are honest. Regardless of what others have said. I really dont sit and read all reviews before i give mine. If the place sucks then it sucks and if they are great i think they deserve the credit. And with that i will say that i have much respect and confidence that 3 of my child are in great hands due to their mental health. They have been true life safers for me and my family. St Cloud Nystrom you guys rock......

Nystrom & Associates is new to St. Cloud, but has many offices throughout the Twin Cities. They offer licensed and trained counselors, psychiatrists, and psychologists, marriage and family therapists, drug and alcohol counseling, support groups, and more - the whole gamut of services. They're professional. They take insurance. Best of all, for those seeking it, they have a Christian foundation. It's not overt/in-your-face, but it's nice to know that foundation is there for those for whom it's important. They're located just off Highway 15 in the Midsota Building with a private parking lot.
